The Pond Protector of Velda keeps away unwanted visitors from your pond. The increasing heron population in The Netherlands and Belgium is a danger for numerous pond fish and is a nuisance for lovers of ponds. Among them are those who keep Koi and often have to watch herons catch their valuable fish.

The Pond Protector is a quite efficient method to keep herons and cats away from your pond. By stretching a double electric fence, they are prevented from approaching a pond and from catching valuable fish from that pond. Its operation is quite simple: the transformer gives off a low voltage (and harmless) electric pulse to the fence around the pond. When touching it a shock reaction is produced, as a result of which herons and also cats will henceforth avoid the pond.

The Pond Protector comes complete with transformer, 10 synthetic stakes, 80 metres of electric fence, connectors and instructions for use. The electric wire has a length of 80 metres, which is sufficient to protect 40 metres of pond side with two wires.
